Curved beams

We've been making curved laminated beams since 2007. For this house in Hout Bay, our client ordered curved beams for an arched roof, then decided to use them as external roof supports too. Here a straight section of the beam supports the balcony while the curved upper section supports the roof. Laminated under pressure with waterproof adhesives they are suitable for indoor or outdoor use. Beams are made to each client's specifications.

African Padauk table

African Padauk is a tropical wood from Western and Central Africa which is strikingly red in color. It's also very strong and has an appealing, streaky grain which made it an ideal choice for this office work table.
